Phew, the last few days were very busy and with way too much drama.

Let’s start with the bad news

One of our oldest and most trusted server provider went offline overnight and it looks like they are bankrupt.

It’s ridiculous. We did not receive any warnings. We tried reaching them by phone, email and Skype. No answer, but they did block our account from Skype.

This is really annoying because they hosted the majority of our storage servers, which are used for your Torrent and Usenet Cloud. This had to be the worst surprise in a long time.

The good part

We called in a few favours and were able to replace most of those servers. Your download jobs are being restored right now. Many many popular files are back already and we are only struggling with the the not so good connected ones. They need a bit more time.

Going forward…

Obviously replacing the majority of our servers overnight will need more optimisations and there will be hiccups here and there. However, the whole team is watching this like a hawk. Feel free to comment below or open a ticket with our support team if you have any questions or issues
